PCM offers professional installation for our custom entryways and exterior doors. Our preferred installer provides a 1-year warranty on his labor that includes waterproofing and bucking.
What are the advantages of mortise-and-tenon joinery?
Many “custom” entry doors are built with just glue, nails/screws, and maybe a couple of dowels. We don’t use shortcuts to build our doors. We understand an entry door is often put to the test in Florida’s tropical climate. Heat, direct sun, and moisture are constantly on the attack. Taking the time to construct your door with time proven methods is the only option.
Mortise-and-tenon joinery helps eliminate gaps or seam cracks that can occur over time. When a proper depth mortise is cut to receive a full-length tenon, the result is an incredibly strong mechanical bond at the joint. This type of joinery, combined with the right sealants and finishes, can add many years of service above an average “custom” door.

- Aluminum cladding is .094” thick. Thickest cladding in the market!

Palm City Millwork, Inc. will warranty PCM standard wood finishes for a period of one (1) year under normal conditions. Exterior cladded finishes will be warrantied for a period of five (5) years under normal conditions against chalking, fading, peeling, cracking, and film integrity. Black or near-black finishes, finishes that require bleaching, and other specialized finishes are not warrantied. Damage to finish caused by solvents, brick wash, stucco or cleaning chemicals void the warranty.
Glass may have characteristics such as distortion, bubbles, discolorations, blurs, debris, and scratches. These types of characteristics are expected; therefore, they are excluded from this limited warranty, as they are inherent qualities that meet or exceed standard specifications for flat glass ASTM C 1036, heat-treated flat glass ASTM C 1048, and laminated architectural flat glass ASTM C 1172. Heat strengthened or tempered glass may have slight distortions as an inherent quality; therefore, such distortions are excluded from this limited warranty.
